Free Children's Resources & Activities

We have created the following resources and made them available completely free for use to help entertain, educate and occupy children during self-isolation/school closures due to the Coronavirus outbreak; it's our way of helping you during this time. Simply choose which activities you would like to do, download the file (save it if you wish) and then print as many copies as you need! We hope you enjoy making use of these activities and resources. We will try to add new resources as often as we can, including fun activities, colouring pages, art & craft instruction sheets, and fun facts/quiz sheets. Activity Page: Owl Mask (1 page)

This fun cut-out-and-keep mask will keep children occupied for ages - first of all decorating it, and then wearing it for some fun play time! Print it on white card, or use plain paper and stick on to card (such as a cereal box) and decorate with pens, pencils, crayons, paint, glitter, card, fabric, feathers - whatever you can find! When you've finished, attach ribbon, string or elastic to wear it and play. Why not take a photo of you in your mask and post it on our Facebook page? Crossword: Falconry & Birds of Prey (3 pages)

With a mixture of some really easy and a few more challenging clues, the whole family can work together to try and solve our falconry and birds of prey crossword! The answers are included on the 3rd page in case you get really stuck, but we think it would be more fun if you used our website or a search engine to try and find the solutions if you're not sure.

Activity Page: Colour by Math (4 pages)

Colour by numbers, but with a difference! The numbers on the owl on the last page each have a math question to answer. Solve the questions first, to reveal the numbers you need, then use the chart to colour in the owl. Be careful – the colours all have more than one number so you can’t guess the answers! We have used a mixture of easy and hard questions so the whole family can work together to solve them.

Use this educational worksheet to learn all about food chains and food webs, including producers, consumers, herbivores, omnivores and carnivores. Featuring easy-to-follow notes and examples, children can then colour in 30 unique plant and animal cards to cut out and keep, using them to create their own examples of food chains and webs.

Art & Craft: Make a Fun & Funky Cardboard Owl (3 pages)

Using just a cardboard toilet roll tube and a few basic art & craft supplies, we will show you how you can make your very own fun and funky owl. The easy craft activity is suitable for all ages (though smaller children will need help with scissors) and uses things you probably already have at home. Enjoy some creative time making these adorable owls!

Please use the form below to order printed copies of any of the resources that you require; it costs just 50p per page - most of the resources and activities consist of between 1 to 3 pages each, as specified below, and it costs just £1.50 to cover postage, packing and admin fees. Select as many or as few resources as you would like and choose how many copies you need of each one.
